...to bring you sun-shiney days, rubber boots, muddy paws, perpetually dirty floors, rosy cheeks, bird watching, coffee drinking around the fire, sidewalk chalk, melting snow, barbequed suppers, and lazy evenings.
...pretty fabric, new sewing projects, the excitement of a fledgling business, a funky new knitted scarf, some great books, tea with friends and the odd bubble bath.
...mystery solving with Fred, Velma and the gang, a fridge full of beautifully colored works of art, homemade play dough, hand-dyed Easter eggs, new Spring clothes, lego, Strawberry Shortcake, and restful sleeps brought on by days of playing in the fresh air .
...yard work, Food Network Challenges, chopping firewood, the start of a good tan, the excitement of a fishing trip, a cigar and a cold Keith's.
...and the mad panic of moving to a new town in about 90 days.
You can expect things to be a little quiet around here for the next few months as we prep for our move and enjoy the much awaited sunshine and warm weather that is Spring in the North. If you've ever been here, you know there is a very tiny window between the freezing temperatures of Winter, and the swarms of mosquitoes that signal the arrival of Summer. I'm sure you can see why more of my time is being spent out-of-doors than in front of the computer screen, and I'm sure you don't blame me! Please don't think I've abandoned this space. Pattycake Manners has become a big part of my life, and I look forward to jumping back in as we settle into our new home and things calm down.

ReplyDeleteI know it's stressful to move and a LOT of work but I wish you well in your journey. Hopefully it won't be long before your back in the full swing of things. It's also pretty exciting to move to a different place.
